What is ozone therapy?

Ozone, or O3, is created by applying a low-voltage electrical current to pure, medical-grade oxygen. This process splits the oxygen molecules into atoms, which then form into triplets, or O3 (ozone). During treatment, the ozone molecules enter the body and break back down into O2 and O1 molecules.

Ozone therapy delivers soluble oxygen to areas of the body to increase healing and kill off harmful viruses, bacteria, and other intruders. There are different ways to administer ozone therapy, depending on your pet’s condition. Ozone can be given as an injection, intravenously, topically, and many other methods!

The goal of ozone therapy for pets is to restore balance to the body’s cells in order to increase the cells capacity to utilize oxygen efficiently. This treatment helps to enhance healing and improve your pet’s quality of life

Ozone Therapy & Cancer

Here in the US, cancer is the leading cause of death in almost 50% of dogs, and in approximately 32% of cats. Ozone therapy can be indicated for the adjunctive treatment of various types of cancer, and can be incredibly effective in conjunction with numerous integrative therapies.
